Description
Second Lieutenant Dwight Burcham, B-24 pilot who completed 17 missions during the seven months he was in Italy before Victory in Europe (V-E) Day, has been spending a 30-day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Burcham. The pilot is a graduate of Polytechnic High School, and was a student at the University of Texas when he enlisted. He received his wings on May 23, 1944. He is shown standing against a bare wall, wearing his uniform.
