    Lieutenant R. M. Luton, veteran "grasshopper" pilot in the European Theater of Operations (ETO), looking at some of the German weapons he brought home with him as souvenirs. He is on leave while awaiting transfer to the Pacific theater. He is shown sitting on a couch, wearing his uniform. The guns are laid out on a table. He is holding one of the pistols and a cigarette.
