Description
Downed three Japanese planes over Luzon. Lieutenant Paul Lipscomb, Army Air Force and former manager of the Bowie theater in Fort Worth, Texas, is home on a leave after 150 missions as a P-51 pilot in the Pacific Theater. He his 25th brithday Wednesday at the home of his parents. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Neal H. Lipscomb. His honors include the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal, and the Purple Heart. Lipscomb has four battle stars on his Pacific Theater ribbon. He received his wings at Brooks Field, San Antonio in February 1943. He has three brothers who are Army pilots. They are, Major Raymond Lipscomb, Major Woodrow Lipscomb and Lieutenant Bob Lipscomb. All are graduates of Paschal High School. Two younger brothers, Dick and Billy, are at home.
