Description
Lieutenant H. J. Barys, Medical Corps, United States Navy Reserve (U. S. N. R.), was a visitor in Fort Worth, Texas, preparatory to assuming duties as senior medical officer at the Navy recruiting office. Lieutenant Barys is a veteran of 23 months. Before entering the Navy, he practiced medicine in Chicago, Illinois, and has specialized in surgery in the service, doing duty in naval hospitals. He is now on limited service because of his wound. He is shown standing against a bare wall, wearing his uniform.
