Description
The Parker County peach crop yield was unexpectedly high this year. Residents are being urged to buy and can peaches without sugar, as a means of lining their shelves with an important food item for next winter. Shown are Miss Frances Norman, left, secretary in the county agent's office at Weatherford, Texas, and Miss Frances Champion, secretary for the Farm Security Administration, biting into peaches. Miss Norman is wearing a striped dress. Miss Champion is wearing a solid-colored dress with a belt at the waist. There are automobiles parked in the background.
