    Description

    The big job of helping to move men and materials to the West Coast for the Pacific war was a major topic in conferences between Burlington Railroad officials from Chicago, Illinois, and Fort Worth & Denver Railway officials in Fort Worth, Texas. The Burlington group, seated, left to right, includes Ralph Budd, president; Edward Flynn, executive vice president; and L. R. Capron, vice president. The Fort Worth & Denver officials are, standing, left to right, C. D. Peckenpaugh, vice president and general manager; Robert L. Hoyt, general passenger agent; and C. S. Edmonds, freight traffic manager. All the railroad officials are wearing suits. They are seated at and standing behind a desk.
