She hadn't seen her father in a year and three months, but 3-year-old Cylinda Sue Bailey knew him immediately when Sergeant M. Ward Bailey, Fort Worth, Texas, attorney and former county Democratic chairman, flew in for a furlough after 14 months of service in the European Theater of war. Sergeant and Mrs. Bailey and their daughter were photographed at their home, sitting on a couch. Mrs. Bailey is wearing a dark colored dress. Sergeant Bailey is wearing his military suit. Cylinda Sue is wearing a dress.
