A couple of buddies who are dreaming of winning in the Lone Star Cocker Spaniel Specialty Club's show in Trinity Park on July 15. The red cocker is Jimmy's Red Dream, owned by Private First Class James Whitsel, stationed at Fort Worth Army Air Field (FWAAF). Whitsel has his arm around his dog and they are seated on a table. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 8, 1945.
