Description
Although Technician Sergeant Jack W. Hamilton completed his 35 missions in November of 1944, he chose to remain in England, because he was engaged to a British woman. He is home now spending a 30-day furlough with his mother, Mrs. O. S. Jones. He is making plans to bring his bride to Texas as soon as possible. She is the former Miss Constance Joan Starr, a member of the Women's Royal Naval Service (WRENS). Sergeant Hamilton won the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with four clusters while serving as a B-24 radio operator. He is shown standing against a bare wall, wearing his military uniform.
