Description
Health officials have been asked to clean all the city's alleys in an effort to prevent a recurrence of a polio epidemic in Fort Worth. Only with complete co-operation of the citizens can this be accomplished. Here's an example of a clean alley -one alley kept clean and neat to curb disease which begins when sanitation is neglected. This alley, is located on Beverly between E. Maddox and E. Allen, is kept trimmed by S. T. Dozier of 1300 E. Maddox. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 2, 1945.
