He is shown inside a train, dressed in uniform, holding a cigarette in his right hand and posing for the camera through the open window. Major (Maj.) Hollingsworth, Fighting Texas is the former Texas A&M football ace. He wears 14 decorations, seven major campaign stars and is in line for promotion and discharge with 196 points -- the highest amount in the 9th Army. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 29, 1945.
