Description
Miss Marjorie Standlee of Handley, Texas, is pictured here. She is shown standing against a bare wall, wearing a check patterned dress, smiling and holding her award winning poster "Para ver al medico" for the camera. This poster brought her first prize in the county showing, second place in the state exhibition and grand prize in the National Tuberculosis Association contest for a Spanish language placard. Miss Standlee graduated from North Texas Agricultural College (NTAC) in June. She is the daughter of Mrs. Dan G. Standlee. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 25, 1945.
