Description
A special troop train bearing 377 Texas members of the 86th Division Black Hawks stopped at Texas & Pacific (T&P) Station on it's way to Fort Sam Houston. The men exuberant over being back in their home state, spent a two-hour stopover cavorting about T&P Station. Private First Class Homer C. Durst of Junction, Private First Class Lawrence Moore of Brownwood, and Private First Class Aubrey C. Anderson of Fort Worth. All of them are seen sitting on the train steps.
