Description
First Methodist Church Dedication left to right, Reverend W. L. Hankla, Bishop H. A. Boaz and Reverend H. D. Knickerbocker. or the first time in fifteen years, the million-dollar structure was debt free. Sole trusteeship passed from the Fort Worth congregation to the Methodist Church. The three men participated in the dedication ceremony. Reverend Hankla was an assistant pastor at First Methodist. He is wearing a suit and a striped necktie. Bishop Boaz was licensed to preach at the church fifty-six years earlier and has since retired. He is wearing a three piece suit. Reverend Knickerbocker was pastor in 1908 when the former building was under construction. He is wearing a double breasted suit.
