    Description

    G. R. Porter, was elected commander of Texas American Veterans of World War II and active secretary of the commanders consul. He was given a medical discharge after eighteen months of service in the Army Air Corps. He is a native of Elmira, New York and graduated from Bucknell University, the University of Wisconsin, and the American University in Washington. Mr. Porter married the former Billie Lee Miller of Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Porter is wearing a double breasted pinstripe suit with a pen in the front pocket. He is standing against a wall.
