Fair Department Store bond sales. From left to right: Jane Tucker, Alice Palmer, Mollie Roth, Mollie Griffin, Mark Pegues, Jennie V. Henderson, Ellawee Smith, Mrs. J. P. Casey and Hilda Bridgewater. These are the eleven Fair store saleswomen that reported to Mr. Pegues for the store's bond campaign. The group is shown standing in front of a wall; the women wearing long dark dresses with ribbons on their chests and Mr. Pegues wearing a suit. Mr. Pegues is holding up many papers that resemble dollar bills while smiling. Some of the women are also smiling.
