Mrs. McLuhan is wearing a hat, coat and skirt and is holding a purse and a pair of gloves in her right hand. Mrs. Lewis is wearing a dress, hat and gloves. Mrs. McLuhan arrived in the United States on the ship President Roosevelt from Galway, Ireland. The ship was sent to rescue Americans stranded in the war zone.
