Description
Buyers from 500 firms nationwide are in Fort Worth, Texas for the million-dollar synchronized spot sale of construction and farm equipment. Thousands of pieces of heavy machinery and parts will be released from military duty and returned to civilian use. The three-day sale will open Monday morning at the Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Some of the buyers in attendance left to right, are E. H. Enzer, Bert Marshall Junior, and Martin Dowell Junior. Mr. Enzer is the assistant merchandising chief for the Office of Surplus Property (O. S. P.). He is dressed in a striped suit. Mr. Marshall, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, is shown smoking a cigarette. He is wearing dress shirt, necktie and trousers. Mr. Dowell is the event's auctioneer. He is wearing a collared shirt, blazer, and trousers.
