Brigadier General W. W. Irvine, deputy assistant chief of staff for the War Department, just back from Europe, stopped in Fort Worth to visit his daughter, Mrs. A. L. Weir, Junior. Brigadier Irvine is seen to be wearing his uniform and Mrs. Weir is seen to be wearing a dress and a hat as both of them are sitting next to each other on a couch. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, May 23, 1945.
