Description
Lieutenant Commander William M. Crawford, former Fort Worth, Texas, physician and surgeon, is serving as senior medical officer and third in command aboard the Coast Guard vessel USS General D. E. Aultman. Dr. Crawford is a graduated of Texas Christian University and Washington University's Medical School at St. Louis, Missouri. He served a two-year internship at City-County Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. In 1932 he became associated with Dr. H. O. Deaton in a practice. He is pictured in his military uniform. There is a handwritten message at the bottom of the photograph: "To 'Bart' who stood for me all these years, your pal Bill."
