Frank A. Thompson, trustee and chief executive officer of Frisco Railway, was in Fort Worth, Texas, for the annual meeting of stockholders and directors. They are planning to replace its Texas Special with a streamlined, diesel powered train that will clip eight hours from the present 25-hour schedule between San Antonio, Texas, and St. Louis, Missouri.
