Description
Mrs. Mattie Betts of Sulphur Springs was honored at an open house Sunday by her daughters, Mmes. Al Johnson, Alton Hardie and James Knapp, at the Johnson home. The table, laid with a hand crocheted cloth, was centered with the crystal punch bowl, flanked by white tapers in crystal holders. Red roses decorated the house. Among those present were Messrs. Bailey Betts and Loren Betts, sons of Mrs. Betts. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, May 14, 1945.
