V-E Day babies. One of the first babies to arrive in Fort Worth on the day of the proclamation of victory over Germany. James Marshall McEachern was born at 1:20 A.M. at St. Joseph's Hospital. He and his mother, Mrs. McEachern, are shown in bed along with a framed picture of his father, Lieutenant James M. McEachern, co-pilot on a B-17 bomber with the 15th Army Air Force in Italy. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition, May 8, 1945.
