The North Side High School track team is celebrating their recent victory at the State Championship in Austin, Texas. Pictured left to right are Coach L. B. Morris and Bobby Whisenant. Coach Morris is the head coach of the track team. He is dressed in a t-shirt and trousers. Whisenant is the 130-pound state champion miler. He faced a big field in Austin and finished with a time of 4:38.4. The mark was four seconds and 20 yards ahead of his closest challenger. He is dressed in a t-shirt with the school logo and shorts.
