North Fort Worth Garden Club. Show winners. Left to right, Mrs. E. W. Shine, Mrs. David McGee and Mrs. Max Farmer. Mrs. E. W. Shine placed first with her coffee table entry. She is wearing a v-neck, bow-patterned dress that is tied at the waist. She has on looped earrings. Mrs. David McGee is blue ribbon winner with her Indian chief iris arrangement, that she is holding in front of her. She has on a longs sleeve v-neck dress, with belt at the waist. Mrs. Max Farmer, chairman of the show, is wearing a short sleeve, polka dot, collar dress with belt at the waist and a flowered brooch between the collar. She has on a wedding ring and dainty wrist watch. There is a rose placed in one of the center button holes of the dress. Her hand is on the irises. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, April 1, 1945.
