Monticello Garden Club spring show. Mrs. J. R. Gray and Mrs James O. Chambers.Mrs. Gray, sweepstakes winner, is standing with her winning arrangement, of mock orange in a ginger jar, set on a glass accent table. She is wearing a dress suit with a flower corsage on her lapel. Mrs. James O. Chambers, chairman of the show, is in a dress suit, that is tied at the waist, and a single stemmed flower pinned on the front. Chambers has on a half hat with a large flower on top. A ribbon around her neck crosses in the front, held together by a cameo brooch. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition April 27, 1945.
