Cattle in the feedlot of J. L. Ness, seen in groups feeding. In the background are corn fields. Corn fields are seen at every farm for corn is the "home-grown feed" which gave the Corn Belt its name and retains for it the reputation of producing as good beef as there is in the world. Cattle shown in the Ness feedlot are from the SMS ranches in Texas.
