The bus fell off the highway, rolled down a 40-foot bank, turned over three times, and landed in three feet of water. All 16 passengers escaped by breaking down windows and six suffered non-critical injuries. An unidentified man standing in the creek and two others are helping drag the bus out of the water. Two other men are standing on the shore (right). Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, April 21, 1945.
