    Description

    Pilot Is Home From Pacific. During 40 missions his ship was hit only one time, reported First Lieutenant John Franklin Agee, B-24 pilot who is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S.A. Agee, 2943 6th Avenue, after a year in the Pacific theater. Agee bombed targets on Truk, the Marianas, and the Bonins, including enemy installations on Iwo Jima. The Liberator pilot is photographed wearing his military uniform and the Air Medal with one cluster and holds recommendations for five more clusters and the Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC). Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition April 20, 1945.
