Clothes for War Victims. Fort Worth's generous response to the plea to aid ill-clad millions in liberated nations of the world is shown in scenes made during the citywide pickup staged in connection with the United National Clothing Collection for Overseas Relief. Marking shoes are Ira Cates, left, and W. C. Deaigh, right. No ration stamp will be required to obtain these shoes being mated and tied. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition April 16, 1945.
