Description
Clothes for War Victims. Fort Worth's generous response to the plea to aid ill-clad millions in liberated nations of the world is shown in scenes made during the citywide pickup staged in connection with the United National Clothing Collection for Overseas Relief. Fred De Malade, left, hands collections already cartoned by donors to Arthur Massey from one of the fleet of donated trucks which unloaded at the central collection depot set up at Pioneer Palace. Both men are members of the Optimist Club. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition April 16, 1945.
