Description
Scanning the sky for his stray pigeon while holding another pigeon is 10-year-old Dea Stephenson, whose little sister accidentally released the bird from its home-made cage. The female pigeon was part of his plan to raise homing pigeons for the government. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, April 10, 1945.
