E. B. McNeel, chief petty officer, survivor of the sinking of the aircraft carrier Bismarck, with his wife and baby daughter, Frances Nell, who was born while he was serving in the Philippines. They are sitting on the sofa and looking at their daughter. Mrs. McNeel is holding the baby. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 8, 1945.
