Description
Southwest Exhibition and Fat Stock Show. James Wittman, thirteen, of Haslet, Texas is one of the happiest boys in Texas. He is the proud owner of the grand champion litter of pigs. With help from his mother and S. H. Hendricks, assistant Tarrant County agent, James has fed his litter of ten Poland China pigs since they were born last September. James won $82 in prize money and sold nine of his pigs for $320. He saved his finest pig after refusing an offer of $100. James is standing against a wall wearing a plaid coat. He is holding up his first place ribbon for the camera.
