    Description

    Sixteen-month-old Clyde Russell Burk, son of the late Clyde Burk, was given the silver belt buckle, symbolic of the national calf roping title, presented during the rodeo and horse show. Floyd B. Rigdon of Carlsbad, New Mexico, is the National Rodeo Association president. He presented the belt buckle to Mrs. Clyde Burk and her son. Mr. Burk was fatally injured in a rodeo at Denver, Colorado, on January 22, 1945. Mr. Rigdon is dressed in a pinstripe suit. Mrs. Burk is wearing a blazer and a skirt. Clyde Russell is dressed in overalls and a t-shirt.
