Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show, Champions. Miss Merlyn Gail Kothmann, exhibitor of the 1944 grand champion steer, hugs the new winners Harold and Frank Norvell. W. P. Norvell of Burnet, Texas is the proud father of the exhibitors. Mr. Norvell is wearing a cowboy hat and a suit. Harold is dressed in a cowboy hat and a white t-shirt tucked into his jeans. Miss Kothmann is wearing a blouse, coat, and trousers. Frank is wearing a hat, coat, and cuffed jeans. He is holding the winning ribbon. There is a crowd of people surrounding the winners and their steer.
