"Colorado Challenger" was named Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show, Grand Champion Steer. Colorado Challenger is a Hereford steer from the Rockies. John C. Burns, left, president of the show presented the award to Perry Workley of Blanca, Colorado. Mr. Burns is wearing a cowboy hat, a three-piece suit, and cowboy boots. Mr. Workley is wearing a cowboy hat, dress shirt, necktie, and has the number "21" pinned to his chest.. He is handling the steer for Otto Fulscher, the owner and breeder.
