    Description

    Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show of 1945 got away to a successful start at the opening rodeo and horse show. Standing in the rodeo crowd were John B. Davis, John C. Burns, Ralph Budd, and Governor Coke R. Stevenson. Mr. Davis is exposition secretary-manager. He is wearing a dark-colored suit. He is holding a rolled up piece of paper and has another piece of paper in his breast pocket. Mr. Burns is the show president. He is dressed in a dark three-piece suit. Mr. Budd of Chicago, Illinois is president of the Burlington System. He is wearing a light colored three-piece suit. Governor Stevenson is dressed in a three-piece pinstripe suit. He is holding a newspaper and a pipe. On the table in front of the men there is a telephone and someone's hat.
