Description
A mounted parade through downtown Fort Worth ushered in the 1945 Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show. Governor Coke R. Stevenson, a rancher, led the way on his paint horse. John C. Burns, president of the exposition, rode alongside the governor. Governor Stevenson is wearing a cowboy hat, three piece suit, and cowboy boots. Mr. Burns is wearing a cowboy hat and a suit. Behind the parade of horses there is a railroad train.
