Mrs. B. W. Adams, right, chairman of surgical dressings for the Tarrant County Red Cross chapter, and Mrs. Lucille Ford, co-chairman, unpack the large shipment of gauze, from which local workers are expected to produce 259,200 surgical dressings in the next three months. Workrooms will reopen, after having been closed for four months, awaiting new quotas and supplies. Mrs. Adams and Mrs. Ford are shown standing in a room with supply boxes and smiling for the camera. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 7, 1945.
