Description
Technical Sergeant (Tech. Sgt.) Thaddeus M. Domzolski was in the first allout raid on Berlin as a radio gunner aboard a B-24. He was on 35 missions over enemy territory in which his crew shot down six German planes. This 26-year-old sergeant is a winner of the Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC), Air Medal with three clusters, the Presidential Unit Citation and the European Theater of Operations ribbon. He is shown seated on a sofa, wearing his military uniform and holding a cigar. He is facing front and smiling for the camera. At present, he is stationed at Fort Worth Army Air Field. As a civilian, he worked at an Army air depot installing wiring in airplanes. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 2, 1945.
