    Description

    Dennis L. Cozby is a Seaman First Class in the United States Navy. He is in Fort Worth, Texas on a thirty-day leave. Cozby serves on a Landing Ship Tank (LST) with the Amphibious Forces and wears the newly instituted shoulder patch. Cozby enlisted in May 1944 at seventeen years old. He has been awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and a Unit Commendation. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in his military uniform.
