    A world famed mother and son team in social service pioneering now in Fort Worth, Texas, for the first national executive board meeting of the Volunteers of America ever held here are General Maud Ballington Booth, 79 years old co-founder of the organization which celebrates its golden anniversary in 1946, and her son Colonel Charles Brandon Booth, field secretary. Both reside in New York City, New York. Mother is seated in a chair and son is sitting on the chair's arm. Both facing front and wearing uniforms.
