Lightweight Final. Lloyd Densman, (right) goes down after a heated exchange of blows with Donald Frye, Houston, in their semifinal Gloves bout at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Densman came back strong in the third round, but Frye gained the finals and won. There is an unidentified man standing to the far left of the picture. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 20, 1945.
