Description
The Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held in Fort Worth, Texas at the Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Squaring off in the ring, left to right are Soldier Jack Osteen and Sailor L. W. Williams. The military men are battling for the featherweight class in the quarterfinals Saturday night. Osteen is shown connecting on an uppercut to the ribs of his opponent. Williams is missing on a right hook as he absorbs the blow. A referee is standing in the background. Osteen, representing Amarillo, Texas went on to win the decision.
