    Description

    Lieutenant Junior Grade John D. Warner, of Houston, Texas, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for outstanding achievement in night missions. He is a Black Cat pilot and a member of a patrol bomber squadron in the South Pacific. Two pictures of Lieutenant Warner are pinned to a piece of cardboard. The picture of the left shows him in his military uniform. On the right, Lieutenant Warner is wearing a bomber jacket, an aviator hat and goggles.
