Staff Sergeant (Sgt.) John E. Bryant is a B-24 gunner in the Army Air Force. He has spent the last six months stationed in England with the 8th Air Force. He is home on leave, visiting his mother, Mrs. Mae Bryant in Fort Worth, Texas. After completing thirty-five missions, he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with four clusters. Sergeant (Sgt.) Bryant is shown standing against a wall, dressed in his military uniform. He is a former student of Arlington Heights High School. End of his furlough he will report to Santa Ana, California. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 7, 1945.
