Description
Punch Wright is a custodian at the Tarrant County Courthouse in Fort Worth, Texas. He is gingerly lifting a charred pipe from a water cooler, where he dunked it when the pipe caught fire. His quick thinking saved Associate Appellate Court Justice Speer and the Courthouse from going up in flames. Mr. Wright is dressed in a hat, collared shirt, necktie, and trousers. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 7, 1945.
