Description
Sergeant (Sgt.) Sally Wasson has arrived in Fort Worth, Texas to serve with the radio staff of the Women's Army Corps (WAC) recruiting office. She was previously stationed in Wichita Falls, Texas. Sergeant (Sgt.) Wasson, a native of Miami, Florida, joined the service in February 1943. She is a former professional underwater swimmer and a New York model. She also, served on the public relations staff with the 6th Service Command in Chicago. She is shown standing against a wall, dressed in her uniform. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 6, 1945.
