Description
The Golden Gloves District Tournament is being held in Fort Worth, Texas at the Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. One of the most anticipated bouts came on Saturday night between welterweights, left to right, Bob Wood and Wayne Lucas. Wood is a Convair employee and a Young Men's Christian Association (Y. M. C. A.) boxer. Lucas is representing the L. R. Todd Barbershop Team. The fighters are shown moments after Wood dodged a hook from Lucas. Wood went on to win the hotly contested bout on a third-round technical knockout.
